Otrivin Children Nasal Drops contain the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride that helps to open up and clear nasal passages by reducing nasal mucus and returning swollen blood vessels to their normal size. It provides relief in as little as 2 minutes and lasts up to 10 hours. Dosage: For children 2 to 5 years of age: With adult supervision. 1 to 2 drops into each nostril once or twice daily (every 8 to 10 hours) are generally sufficient. Do not exceed 3 applications daily into each nostril. The last dose can be applied before going to bed. For children 6 to 11 years of age: With adult supervision. 2 to 4 drops into each nostril 2 to 3 times daily. Do not exceed 3 applications daily into each nostril. The last dose can be applied before going to bed.
